Currently, Jaxon is pursuing a bachelors in Music Performance, with the goal of becoming a professor of Cello. About Me
I am a music performance major at the University of Wyoming studying with Dr. Beth Vanderborgh to become a professional cellist. I started in 2021 and plan to earn a bachelor's degree at the university and then a masters and doctorate in music. I play with the university’s Chamber orchestra and Symphony orchestra. During my free time I teach cello lessons and can be found arranging and recording music for my cello-focused YouTube channel.

I chose music because growing up playing cello made a huge impact on my life. I want to provide my students with that opportunity and I want to share my love for music with anyone who is willing to listen. I received pedagogical training and experience that allowed me to start Cox Cello Studio in 2022, through which I teach private cello to all ages.

My YouTube channel Big Awkward Guitar is a music channel for those who love instrumental covers and other arrangements. The B.M. Music Performance with emphasis in Cello degree at the University of Wyoming is a prestigious and economic part of Jaxon Cox's higher education. He plans to go on to get a masters and doctorate degree in Music Performance and become a professor of cello.

Jaxon Cox graduated high school and chose to continue his education in cello. He loves music and is passionate about sharing it with others. His opportunities in summer camps, high school orchestra leadership, and audition-only honor orchestras over many years has prepared him to teach and direct young cellists to success.
